What has been your biggest struggle with losing weight and achieving your fitness goals?
The biggest thing I struggled with was realising it is okay to have off days and that you can get right back on track the next day and be okay, as well as keeping track of food and staying consistent.
What made you want to change?
I decided I wanted to change when I realised how far gone I was. I wanted to make sure I could get healthy to live a better life without trouble, and to help my self esteem.
What was your biggest concern before you began working with me? How did you overcome it?
My biggest concern was looking stupid at the gym while working out. I overcame it by just going for it constantly even if I was unsure of myself.
What was the hardest thing for you to change in order to succeed? How did you do it?
The hardest thing for me to change was creating a habit of tracking my food every day. I made sure I did it since I had you to keep me accountable haha, and that formed a habit.
What was the lowest point of your journey? How did you overcome it?
The lowest part of my journey so far was trying to stay consistent with food and the gym while going through rough patches of depression and anxiety. I overcame it by at least trying to keep my food consistent when I couldn't make myself go to the gym, and making sure I went to the gym at least 2 times a week.
Did you achieve what you initially set out for? Was there anything positive you achieved that you didn't expect?
Yes! I creating a healthy habit of consistency and tracking my food. Accountability from Carter helped a lot as I know I could not make this happen by myself. I didn't expect to achieve the confidence to try exercises with the actual barbells and squat racks, but I did it!
Looking back, was working with me what you thought it would be? Do you feel you made the right decision?
Yes I think I made the right decision as it was a great start to my weight loss journey and helped a lot for my self esteem when it comes to weight loss and what has to be done. It was what I thought it would be.
What are your future health and fitness plans?
My future health and fitness plans are to continue the journey and get down to my final goal weight of 130-135 pounds. After, I hope to be able to eat in a surplus to gain strong muscles and not weight in the bad areas, haha.
